you can list used items in plenty of categories on Amazon. Keep in mind that the items you want to sell still have to meet Amazon\u2019s used&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sellercentral.amazon.com\/gp\/help\/200339950?language=en_US&amp;ref=au_200339950_cont_G200332540\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">condition guidelines<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Amazon\u2019s Used Condition Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Used \u2013 Like New or Open Box:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The item is in perfect working condition with intact original packaging and in good condition with minor damage possible, with or without original protective wrapping. Instructions must be included.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Used \u2013 Very Good:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The item has been well-cared-for, has undergone limited use, and is still in good working condition. It may show limited signs of wear, i.e. small scratches or cosmetic errors. The original packaging may be damaged, or the item could be repackaged. Any missing accessories must be clearly defined for each item.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Used \u2013 Good:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The item is in good condition and is fully-functional but shows signs of wear from consistent use. Bears signs of wear such as scratches, dents, worn corners, or identifying markings. Parts, accessories, and instructions may be missing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sellercentral.amazon.com\/gp\/help\/200339950?language=en_US&amp;ref=au_200339950_cont_G200332540\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to Amazon<\/a>, the following conditions are unacceptable to be listed on Amazon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The item is dirty with mold, heavy staining, corrosion, or other signs of uncleanliness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item has damage that impacts the ability to use it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item is missing parts or accessories that are essential to use it (excludes instructions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The product needs repairs\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item is a copy, counterfeit, replica, or imitation of an original product\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item was created for promotional purposes, such as a product sample or advance reading copy\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item is expired or close to expiring, per its expiration date (including \u201cbest by\u201d and \u201csell by\u201d dates), or the expiration date has been altered or removed\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item was designated unsellable by its manufacturer\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When listing a used product for sale, you must designate the condition in order to ensure a positive customer experience. If the item is missing parts or doesn\u2019t work correctly,&nbsp;<strong>do not<\/strong>&nbsp;list it on Amazon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow our detailed&nbsp;retail arbitrage&nbsp;guide and our&nbsp;How to Sell on eBay&nbsp;guide to learn more about valuing items you find at retail stores to resell on Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to sell certified pre-owned and refurbished products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon offers a program called&nbsp;Amazon Renewed, through which sellers can list pre-owned and refurbished items that have met Amazon\u2019s performance and inspection criteria.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not every seller will be eligible to sell in the Amazon Renewed program. The strict requirements will typically only be met experienced sellers. Amazon does this to be sure the businesses selling like-new and refurbished items are legitimate and high-quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sell.amazon.com\/programs\/renewed.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to Amazon<\/a>, you must meet the following criteria in order to qualify for Amazon Renewed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cSupply invoices showing a minimum total value of $50,000 in qualifying refurbished purchases in the previous 90 days from the date of the application. You may black out the unit purchase amount on the invoices. Note that sellers intending to offer products related to Home, Tools, or Lawn &amp; Garden, Kitchen may supply invoices showing a minimum total of $50,000 in qualifying refurbished purchases in the previous 180 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are an existing seller on Amazon, we require an ODR of 0.8% or less in the trailing 90 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want permission to list factory refurbished items (with no manufacturer warranty) you need to submit a minimum of 8 images of a sample unit for product and packaging review (box in which the product will ship, inside packaging and padding, product from top and bottom, product from all four sides).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your company backs all of your refurbished products with the Amazon Renewed Guarantee and is responsible for all claims under the guarantee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For approval to list the Apple brand in Consumer Electronics categories, we require invoices dated from trailing 90 days that total $2.5 million in Apple refurbished products.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to list used items for sale on Amazon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This process is pretty much the exact same thing as listing a new item for sale. You cannot create a listing for your used product if the same product is already being sold on Amazon \u2014 even if the existing listing only offers the item in \u201cnew\u201d condition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this example, I am going to list a used cordless drill.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, the top offer is in \u201cNew\u201d condition, which is also the offer that is currently in the&nbsp;Buy IBox.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below that, you will see multiple \u201cUsed\u201d offers customers can choose from. You will also see condition notes that explain any imperfections or issues with the product.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Seller Central, I\u2019ll go to \u201cManage Inventory,\u201d then \u201cAdd a product.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In \u201cAdd a product\u201d I\u2019ll paste the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/blog\/amazon-asin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASIN<\/a>&nbsp;of the cordless drill above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once I search for the product\u2019s ASIN, it will appear on the next page with the option to set the product\u2019s overall condition \u2014 new or used. I\u2019ve selected \u201cUsed.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, I\u2019m going to click on \u201cSell this product.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the Offer page, I\u2019ll enter the information about the item I\u2019m selling, such as price, condition, and fulfillment method.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCondition\u201d is what you want to pay attention to. Here, you\u2019ll select the option that best describes the condition of the used item you\u2019re selling, per the condition guidelines I discussed earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After choosing the correct used condition, you can add in a condition note if you choose.
